Review - Zafra is one of the few legitimate restaurants in Hoboken worthy of repeat visits. Food is very well done in a warm, inviting atmosphere. The appetizers we had were very good, with delicate flavors presented well. Entrees were not quite as good as the first course, but still very good. Bold flavors, unique presenatations, and combinations of things that you would not expect. Service was good and prices were also reasonable. As Hoboken restaurants continue a slow downward spiral, Zafra is one of the few restaurants in town holding strong as a culinary diamond in the ruff.

Review - I am a huge fan of Zafras' delicious food and warm, friendly atmosphere. I have introduced many of my friends and family to it and they have all enjoyed the food and experience as well. But the offical seal of approval came when I took my mom(herself a great cook and i'm not just saying that because she is my mom) and aside from loving her entire meal she claimed that Zafra has THE BEST white rice, ever. White rice may seem like a simple dish but it truly is a chanllenge to master it for great taste and consistency moreso for a restaurant that has to make it in large quantities.

Review - The yucca fries and (can't remember exactly what they call it) chicken sandwich are excellent, way waaaay above average. It costs you ten bucks to have them make you a HUGE pitcher of sangria (you supply the bottle), which is a little steep but it is excellent sangria. you can also bring beer or whatever else. Great place, worthy of repeat visits.

Review - I HAVE BEEN EATING AT ZAFRA SINCE THEY FIRST OPENED. NEVER DISAPPOINTING, ALWAYS DELICIOUS, WARM AND FRIENDLY. I THINK SOME OF THE ENTREES ARE OVERPRICED AND NOT ALWAYS UP TO PAR, BUT THE APPETIZERS ARE ALL EXCELLENT AND I ORDER 3-4, WITH A YUMMY PITCHER OF SANGRIA, AND I HAVE THE BEST MEAL IN HUDSON COUNTY. ONLY TO BE TOPPED BY THIER NEW RESTAURANT ON ADAMS AND 3RD ( CANT REMEMBER THE ELABORATE NAME)THAT IS SO GOOD, ITS THE BEST FOOD IVE HAD IN A LONG TIME,anywhere( ALTHOUGH VERY, VERY EXPENSIVE FOR HUDSON COUNTY) AND THE SERVICE WAS VERY SLOW( WAITED 20 MINUTES FOR A ROUND OF VERY EXPENSIVE DRINKS!!!!( HOWEVER THE WAITER SENT A COMPLIMENTARY DESSERT. I LOVE THESE 2 RESTAURANTS.

Review - Dissappointed. (Should have went to La Isla instead.) Food was so-so. They charge $10 (!) for a pitcher of Sangria...and WE supplied the wine (it is BYOB)!!!! Service was slow; 20% gratuity automatically charged...I would never have given that much (I know it is the unofficial industry standard).

Review - I found the service to be slow. The entrees are pricy and the portions dont match the prices. You'll be disappointed if you expect a lot of food per dish. The skewered pork for around $9.00 wouldn't even satisfy my chihuahua. Sorry, but my idea of Cuban or Spanish food is plentiful and tasty.
