Review - This place is more or less a dump dressed to show nicely. The individual apartments look nice, but once you live there it seems that things go wrong often. This wouldnt be a bad thing if the Building management or maintenance crew cared. Johnny on the spot (the buildings super) will leave lights in common areas unchanged for a month... and that just an example of the lackadaisical maintenance. Forget it if you expect something inside your apartment to get fixed (after asking for a month or two). **** who appears to run things at the management company is a nice guy, but isnt really ontop of the building... he tells everyone that 'everyone else tells me they're happy, I've never heard those complaints before'. He forgets that we are all 20-30somethings that speak to each other.

Review - I feel inclined to more or less give this building an overall average review. I have lived there for two years and the building does have its pros and cons. Being that Im in my mid 20s this building has been great, financially, as it does offer amenities that comparable apartments would charge a great deal more for. Recently there have been improvements to the buildings overall cleanliness and security. The building is pet friendly and although the little guys are cute, owners have more or less been incredible irresponsible about pet-**** in our communal courtyard and in other audacious places such as the elevators (it wouldnt kill you guys to pick it up!!!). The good news is as of June there are hours restraining the use of the courtyard during weeknights and weekends and there is now a cornered off section where pets can roam free and away from other non pet owners but they are allowed in the public area on a leash. Altogether this means no more listening to drunken idiots sing along to 80s Glam-rock in the middle of the night and no more yellow and brown snow in our courtyard (finally!). Other than that the management office is responsive to complaints but they have in the past ignored smaller problems in our apartments. As far as larger problems go, they do take care of them rapidly if tenants are persistent. It would be great if they would return the weights and issue a gym key so that jerks cant steal them again although I suspect it has something with the neighbors next door who consistently pester you if you drop a 20 pound weight at 8:00 at night.

Review - I have lived in this building for a year and have plenty to say. First, my apartment specifically, from the front door in, is fantastic. Beautiful kitchen, plenty of space, w/d in the apt. Nicest place I've lived in up to now. Other than this, EVERYTHING ELSE SUCKS. A (former) tenant stole ALL the free weights from the gym over 2 months ago and these have yet to be replaced, after numerous phone calls and letters, so the gym has become obsolete. The A/C in the lobby and hallways is never on, so you sweat until you get into your apartment during these lovely summer humid months. The courtyard is a mess and a disaster with dogs, feces, and immature tenants that think they run the place. Most people in this building are completely rude and snobs, for no reason. Everyone rents so no one is better than anyone else. Johnny the Super is great but the Management company is not. Before moving in, we were told about the free shuttle that commutes in the mornings and nights to/from the PATH. Too bad it's $2 each way, which is another $80/month each for me and my roommate. I also continue to see these lies about the gym and the shuttle when the Mgmt company is showing prospective tenants and I am tempted to share my thoughts on the spot, but I will leave it to my review. I hope people read this. If you'd like to know more, please email me @ [email protected]

Review - I have lived here 2 years and agree that the place is nice on the outside but has many problems. Being pet friendly is a nightmare, dogs are barking at all hours of the night and morning (especially in the courtyard) and pet feces is found too often in the common areas (and left uncleaned for days). Building management is slow to react to any issues. Broken items in both the apartments and common areas take multiple phone calls and weeks of waiting to get fixed. Theft is also a problem in the building. I agree that the place has reasonable rents and the apartments are aestically pleasing, but this is not the hight end living that the realtors and management company could have you believe it is.

Review - We looked at buildings all across Hoboken before we moved here and found a luxury 'condo' in the Courtyard at Jefferson as compared to 'apartments' elsewhere. The rent is very competitive for what you get. The fact that it's pet friendly is a God send. Try finding another pet friendly building in Hoboken. The management are nice down to earth people and worked with us when we had issues related to rent...etc... The building crowd is a nice 20-30 something group and the building has a social life of it's own.

Review - if they care at ALL about their reputation but he was not.
Security is NO GOOD at this building. Just this week at 7am I came back from the gym to find a bum IN MY BEDROOM (and yes, i am female). Luckily he wasnt violent and i got him out, but the apt is not in the safest part of town and people should not be able to get in like this! Stairwells and elevators are not secure.
Management company was very accusatory towards me and the manager actually lied and told me the bum had been arrested when I know that is impossible.
