Review - I have to agree that there have been times when the people behind the counter are constantly yapping to their friends, but their beds are great and the wait usually isn't too long. Prices are reasonable.

Review - I went to the location on Newark Street for the first time last night. The girl at the couter was very helpful and patient while I was asking her about the different beds.

Review - Well I must say I just read all of the reviews above and here are my thoughts (and mind you I AM A CUSTOMER WHO LIVES IN HOBOKEN- I DO NOT WORK AT ANY OTHER COMPETITIVE TANNING BED AS I AM A CORPORATE PROFESSIONAL)-
I love Tantaztic on Newark Street Hoboken. I have yet to make my way to the new location by the path but I have heard it is great too. I have been to Island Tans and it pretty much sucks. One thing that is completely important to me is cleanliness and I have never once felt that Tantaztic was unclean. It always smells good in the tanning salon and the beds are always clean to the fullest. I hardly ever have to wait for a bed and I really only choose to use the standups. I do think the packages are somewhat pricey but since the service is great- I am willing to compromise. The bulbs are alwas being changed to support great tans which is also nice. In regards to all of the comments about the girls behind the counter- who cares!!!!! Yes they are always on the phone and yapping with their friends- but what the hell else is there to do when people are in the beds tanning. They aren't always the most friendly to the customers which if they were this tanning salon would be 100% complete! But come on! I would be bored out of my mind if I sat there all day signing people in to go tanning. Most of these girls are in high school and I think they do a good job of running this tanning salon while the boss is way. Good job girls!
My only gripe would be that if the girls were just slightly friendly or could even break a smile at the counter the whole tanning experience might just be more enjoyable. But overall I give Tantaztic a thumbs up!

Review - the negative comment regarding the girls at the counter is very true. they're constantly on the phone or talking to each other and making customers wait. they're not even pleasant to the customer. hopefully you can deal with that because the beds are a good quality.

Review - Great beds, get you really tan, even in the regular ones.
BUT, almost everytime I go the counter girl is talking to her friend and I stand in line for more than 5 min waiting for her to finish her conversation. When she finally finishes she doesnt apologized for making me wait either. Its really annoying.
