Review - Great atmosphere and the wraps are always delicious and well-prepared, with a very good salad on the side. It is obvious that the management has given a lot of thought to the food and ambience.

Review - Basic was one of the first cafes I went to when I first moved to JC. I really like the decor and the staff are always very nice. I also think they have some of the best coffee around. The only things that I don't care for are that they are on the pricy side, and the music is always too loud. It can be kind of hard to have a conversation there. But other than that I recommend it!

Review - Basic was one of the first places I found in Jersey City. I love it's location along the park. The kind of country yet trendy decor is super adorable, but it's a little on the expensive side. The presentation is really good though, because I was pretty tempted by the lot. The people at the counter were good, though not great; what would be described as friendly enough. If you happen to have some extra money, it's a good place to have a bite.

Review - the food is great and so is the Space. A little expensive. The service I find to be very freindly and courtious. However, the wait time for your order often takes a bit longer than you would think. The preperation area is very small making the orders difficult to make. With the good service it evens out.

Review - I really liked this place when I first moved to the neighborhood but their limited menu got old quickly. I wish they could vary their menu at least every season, I don't visit them as often now there are other choices in the neighborhood. And not to be negative but I almost always have to go back to the counter to get more coffee because they automatically serve you about a little more than half a cup (maybe they got tired of seeing people dump coffe to make room for milk) I think they should ask if you want room for milk, not serve you half a cup for $2!

Review - Excellent staff, great prices and great food, The had a girl working there on and off for the last few years pink hair than blonde, She was the best server always a smile always a joke I never left without a smile of my own , all and all a great place on the way to work or for a sunday brunch

Review - I was there at 10am on a Tuesday. They had a steady flow of customers but not overly busy. I found the service to be fast and super friendly. I found the food to be a good value. I had a bagel with lox, cream cheese, tomato & onion. They did not skimp on the lox or the tomatoes. That was $5. The green tea was more expensive-almost $2 but it was large & freshly brewed with the espresso maker as opposed to a tea bag. I had to wait for it to cool down. All in all, an excellent experience!
