Review - I moved into a brand new Newport building just a month ago. These are the things I didn't notice until I lived in it for a few days: There is a constant humming noise from some kind of a utility column in the bedroom (pipes and airducts?) The floor is not level. My computer chair on casters will roll if not anchored with my feet. There is a rubber strip attached along the bottom edge of the apt entry door. I thought it was a bonus. It turns out that it's there because the threshold is at an incline, and there is a one inch gap below one edge of the door. Then I found this bulletin board for the residents of Newport:

Check it out before you sign a lease at Newport.

Review - I don't need to say much about this whole rental complex to demonstrate the low rating I gave. It is not clean: infected with rats and roaches. Many apartment don't have window screens so you share you apartment every night with all kinds of flying and creeping insects that are attracted to the light.
Management is completely ineffective. Try to call them and all you will hear: WE WON'T, WE CAN'T, WE DON'T.
And to top all that the rent is very high.
