Review - I went here for the first time in April 2005 for a facial and my experience here was excellent. I desperately needed a facial and they were totally booked for the next 5-6 days! But, the receptionist Lisa was such a darling - she took the time to accommodate me the next day!
It is a clean and spacious place.
They have nice n soft purple robes and white cotton bodywrap towels and spa slippers that u change into for your treatments.
The waiting area inside is really well done and they urge you to treat yourself to the various herbal teas/lemon water/sweet goodies/cheese and crackers, either before or after your beauty treatment.
You are taken to individual rooms for your facial. The rooms are softly lit and have soft music playing. You are tucked into a nice, soft, warm and cozy bed and then the facial begins.
I am definitely going to come here as often as I need to for my facials.
The therapist Alica was really nice and chatty and friendly and gave me a lot of tips on how to best take care of my skin!
She even massaged my hands while my face mask dried and gave me soem samples packs of the products she thought would best suit my skin.
As for the disastrous haircuts that some women have mentioned, try going across the river to NYC to Jean Loius David at Church and Vesey St. and ask for Sunita Joseph!!

Review - I've been going here since they opened. They always provide great service and employ a very professional staff. I have my hair cut, colored and highlighted by Amy, and I've never, ever been disappointed.

Review - I love this place!!! The staff is professional... The atmosphere is clean and comfortable... I've never left unsatisified. And, to top it off, they validate parking (a big deal in this area). I definitely recommend it.

Review - I've been getting my hair cut and colored by Erin for over a year now and I've always been very happy with it. I get compliments on my hair color from friends and even random strangers all the time. The work I do requires me to very careful about how my hair looks so I'm very picky about stylists-- Erin has never disappointed. I'd recommend her in a heartbeat.

Review - The spa services seem to be better than the hair part. Massages and waxing are welldone, the environment is clean and pleasant. The staff is nice and good at what they are doing. However I had one hair cut. I had to go the next day for another one. Thank the manager, they didn't charge me for the second as I was very unhappy with the first one. The first hair dresser was moody, she wasn't good and she was almost hostile when I wasn't pleased with the haircut I ended up with. The second one was OK but still not a $60 haircut. I could do the same with a $20 one. It wasn't worth it!

Review - I had been going to Experience for a while as it was convenient to my house. But the cut I had there in March 2003 took more than a year to grow out...the stylist cut it far shorter than I had wanted and then said it was cute. The last time I wanted to be cute was when I was 14 in 1967.

Review - I went there for a cut, style & makeup session before a wedding. The makeup was like stage makeup (very cakey and layered) but went perfectly with the hair, which I had asked to be sexy to match what I described as a flamenco inspired dress. It came out like a bouffant (VERY teased a la 1950's beehive). I was SOOO upset I cried that my grandma and I would probably have matching hairstyles. The manager, after some time, offered to take off the cost of the styling but I ended up losing hours of time because I feel they didn't pay enough attention to what I had said.
