Review - This place is the best! It has such a great atmosphere, and everyone who works there is super friendly. Allison has done my hair three times...two updo's...one cut...all three times were nothing but pleasures. Balance is truly amazing...you have to go there to find out firsthand! (and while you're in the neighborhood, grab some homemade ice cream from the place next door!)

Review - Having lived in Jersey City for 5 years I have tried to support local business as much as possible. Not always with successful outcomes, especially amongst Hair salons.
I tried Balance one Wednesday evening 2 months ago- I phoned around 6.30pm asking if any appointments were available - There was, Frank arranged to see me at 7.15pm.
I received a courteous and friendly welcome from Frank & Carla the owner.
Frank is a great stylist and Carla is a very friendly and customer focused woman. Great art in the place too.
I was very happy with my 'do' and have returned 3 times already.
I highly recommend balance and hope to see it thrive in Jersey City.

Review - Prior to moving to Jersey City, lived in NYC for years and was tired of going into the city for haircuts and highlighting. Ventured into Balance and I'm so happy I did.
Hairstylist and Colorist Frank is fabulous! Carla welcomes you to her salon like you have been going there for years. Great atmosphere and alot of creative artwork to admire - ceiling lights and table lamps by Bjorn.

Review - Went in and asked for some help since I had no idea what kind of style would look good on me and came away completely happy! She knew just what to do, no hesitation and it looks great.
