Review - I'd never done Pilates before going to The Pilates Haus, and I was really happy with the welcoming and very professional atmosphere. The facility is beautiful and clean, and the small classes guarantee individual attention. The only caveat: the teachers all have different styles, so if you get used to one and suddenly have another, it can be jarring. Brett, the head teacher, is fantastic -- serious about giving a great workout, but funny and very encouraging. All in all, this place is a very welcome addition to Jersey City!

Review - I've been going to Pilates Haus since the day it opened and it's fantastic. It's all shiny and new, with a range of top-of-the-line equipment. The mat classes are limited to five people so you get unusually personalized attention, and believe me, the knowledgeable and friendly (dare I say...caring?) instructors make sure you do it right. And at $10 per class for ten mat classes, you really can't go wrong. The schedule is growing, and class times are very convenient. And get this...your first mat class is FREE! Thanks to Pilates Haus, I don't have to join a NY gym. Phew!

Review - The Pilates haus is beautiful, clean and professional witha great atmosphere and good friendly expert teachers. Highly reccomended. Brett is a great person and trainer.

Review - I've been going to the Pilates House for 8 months or so and am so happy it's in Jersey City. Brett is a phenominal teacher and gives amazingly individualized attention in the mat classes, as people have indicated. I've been doing private sessions with him as well and am hooked. The yoga classes are great, as is the Saturday creative movement class for kids. The prices are very reasonable, and the hours convenient. As people have indicated, the facilities are clean and spacious. We're lucky to have Pilates House in JC.

Review - Pilates Hause has gotten me hooked on Pilates. I can't say enough about how great Brett is and how much fun his classes are. The facility is very nice, clean and the service is consistently good. The best part of all of it is that it really is very result oriented.

Review - Last week I took the free beginner class which also happened to be my first pilates experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great workout without the typical one upmanship of fitness club classes. The limit of 5 students per class makes it almost a private lesson (although those are available too). Everyone who reviewed was right about Brett- he's the perfect combination of motivator and enforcer (plus teacher since he gave us a brief history of pilates and the foundation of the moves). His style didn't leave me in pain the next day despite the full hour of ab work. I'd also note he tailored some moves for another participant who had told him she had back problems. Facilities: beautiful, clean, with a spa like atmosphere- especially in the bathroom. The Haus may be difficult to find (and a little scary at night) because the entrance faces the delivery area of Shoprite and the street is one way traveling from Washington to Marin. Parking is on the street right in front of the building. I will absolutely return.

Review - I did my first Pilates Class this weekend. I can't say enough great things about the staff and the customer service. I did a trial class on Saturday and was so impressed signed on for more classes and attended my second class on Sunday. The prices are remarkably cheap. I would encourage anyone to try out the classes.
