Review - Last night me and my husband decided not to eat in Manhattan and try what we have heard to be the best kept secret in Jersey City, Traders Restaurant. The moment we entered we were greeted by the hostess and also owner with a smile that made us feel right at home. The bar was crowded so we had the flavor of being in Manhattan but small enough to have that extra special attentiion. The bartender seemed to treat us like she knew us forever and the patrons seemed to love the place. We didn't have to wait long to be seated and after eating I would have waited an hour. The Crabcakes and Spidini Romano were the best I ever had and our Entrees were delicious. I had the Tuna and my husband had the pasta special. Our dishes were empty, because even the side vegetables were flavored perfectly. To end the meal I had a Key Lime Pie and a Chaos Cake that ended our night with a bang. The service was great probably because there are only about 10 tables in the entire restaurant. Even the owners made us feel like family and of course hoped to see us again.......and they will!!!!!!

Review - This place is the real deal, authentic italian food in a warm friendly atmosphere.I had the eggplant rollatini and veal francaise, two dishes I judge a restaurant by and they were as good as it gets. Portions were large so I never tried dessert although I heard someone at the next table raving about something called kaos cake. I will be sure to save room next time.

Review - This is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The food was fantastic, the drinks were perfect, the service was bar none. Tables are not cramped at all as in many restaurants this size. An expensive meal, but well well well worth it. best kept secret in n.j by far! ! !

Review - This family owned and operated eatery is a very cool place to have a great meal in a warm comfortable atmosphere. The Spedini appetizer was great as was the Coconut Halibut in Coconut cream sauce. I am definetly looking forward to going back.
