Review - Gregory Commons is great! The NYC Views from the courtyard and some of the units are just Amazing. The building has a gym and pool that are open 24 hours a day 7 days a week (great feature if you work late). The building has a doorman and porters that work 24-7 as well. The units vary quite a bit- almost every unit is unique in someway. The lobby and hallways are outdated but I was told that they are in the process of being upgrade - I can't wait to see the new look. Overall this is a great complex - everyone is very friendly. This area is still a great value - prices are starting to rise as more buildings around are being developed.

Review - I would like to chime in and simply say that there is a revolution happening in Weehawken these days. I know several people who own condos in Gregory Common and another who owns a home in the area. They love the balance they get between the night-life of Hoboken, access to the city for work, and the peace of a community like Weehawken. In general what you will get is a neighborhood with character and you will not have the press of people that so many other places have. Weehawken feels like a place you can live, not just survive. Gregory Common is a great option and I recommend that if you can find a unit to buy or rent you do it. On the other hand there are other options on the surrounding blocks -- pre-war brownstones, Victorian era house, and new loft conversions. If you to commute to midtown but don't want to live there I will never believe that anyone can get to work faster from any other place. Previous reviews said that the commute is 20mins. I would call that a worst case scenario. To other points raised, these days Weehawken is sprouting low key bars and noteworthy restaurants. I liken the nightlife to uptown Hoboken 5 or 6 years ago -- i.e. its developing but it will be there, so look for new places all the time. I personally recommend Ola Tapas on Park. I was there last week -- I love tapas, and viva Sangria! The end game, if you are looking for a place to live that has real charm look in Weehawken. Gregory Common is a great building. If you can find a unit to buy I suggest you do it fast. If you want something that is not so modern look on the surrounding streets.

Review - We bought two bedroom condo in gregory commons. we love the high ceiling(14ft)and the complex. My neighbours told me that the price of the condo went up double in four years. Its great from living as well as investment perspectives.

Review - My wife and I recently bought a condo in Gregory Commons, and we've found it to be just what we were looking for in a home - a quiet reprieve from the hectic activities in our daily lives. Stores and restaurants are 15 minutes away by walking, so you definitely need a car if you're going to live there. Most every resident has one (parking is included in maintenance fee of units). However, it's 5 minutes to the bus stop into Manhattan (which takes about 10-20 minutes to get to Port Authority, depending on tunnel traffic), so that's always an option as well. I consider Gregory Commons to be the perfect balance for people who want easy access to NYC, but also easy access to driving someplace else. We do our shopping by car in Hoboken and surrounding New Jersey areas and frequently eat out either in Hoboken, Union City and other surrounding Jersey towns, or in Manhattan. Takeout and delivery options are also very abundant.
The gym and pool are frequently used by residents and are in good condition. Decor may not be special, but you're there to work out, not do interior design.
Quality of units vary as some people have put a lot of work into renovations, while some have not. The price will show the difference, but don't expect anything less that $300,000 for an apartment in good condition.
With the continuing development of the surrounding neighborhood and the flight from Manhattan of people looking for more affordable housing, I consider Gregory Commons to not only be a great living situation for our Manhattan-and-Not lifestyle, but also a great investment as well.

Review - I'm looking to buy and I found Gregory Commons interesting. The gym was a touch scary. But most of all I found the location very unappealing. Any news about stores, restaurants, and supermarkets?
